Check out what my clients say:

Debi Gilmore, LMFT

“My search for the best editor for my book involved a process of a lot of research and interviewing. I have worked with several editors over the years in my graduate and doctoral programs, so I had a pretty clear idea of what I was looking for.

“Spencer Merrell rose above the rest in multiple ways. From the very beginning of our collaboration, he presented himself professionally, he was clear, direct, and ambitious in his initial proposal. Throughout our work together he performed beyond expectation and always came through on time, if not early. His wisdom and expertise enhanced my writing and revisions as he guided me beyond my scope of authorship.

“The result is stunning, and I highly recommend Spencer Merrell to anyone looking to rise above the rest in their quest to be successfully published.”

Casey Sutton, Published Author

“Searching for the right editor can be an exhausting endeavor. At times, it can happen by pure chance. If you're looking for an editor, know that you're in the right place——Spencer Merrell is the right editor for you.

“Spencer edited both my short story 'Greedy as a Ghoul', and my full-length novel, Malfus: Necromancer Unchained. I felt like I had a pretty solid story going in, but the results that came back were phenomenal! Spencer works hard and cares passionately about his work.

“He removed 13,000 unnecessary words that were getting in the way of my story, making every sentence matter. The action leaps off the pages. My novel isn't published yet, but my short story, 'Greedy as a Ghoul' is; at the time of this writing, it’s #1 in Dark Fantasy Horror on Amazon!”

Brigham Magnusson, Mesa Public Schools

“Spencer has been a fantastic editor to work with. As an amateur writer and novelist, having someone who will work with me on my own time table and with my budget has been a massive boon. The amount of care that he took in going back and forth between drafts helped transform my writing from a vague idea to a fully fledged story.”

Eveline Miranda, PhD

“As an international student at BYU, I often needed some help to revise my papers, as sometimes it was hard to make sense of some grammar rules in English.

“All the time I needed his help, Spencer was awesome and fast! He helped me go through my dissertation and some research papers and corrected the grammar issues without changing the meaning, which was essential in my documents. I highly recommend his services.”
